Jill Anderson is an Omaha, NE native. She has worked as a professional musician and theatre artist in the midwest as well as Chicago, New York, and in many regional theatres and concert halls throughout the United States. Jill has recorded four CDs of traditional Irish music and has toured in the Midwest with her concert, “Celtic Cabaret.”
Besides music, Jill has been heavily involved in professional theatre as an actor, director, writer, costumer, composer, and theatre educator. She has worked with Opera Omaha, the NE Shakespeare Festival, the New York Festival of Song, Orlando Philharmonic, and Milwaukee Repertory Theatre to name a few.
As a first time film maker, Jill is profoundly touched by the trust that each interviewee has gifted the “48 Stars” team with -the trust that their stories will be handled with respect and artistry. As a lifelong storyteller herself, Jill finds great beauty and importance in the act of preserving the remarkable impressions of the subjects of 48 STARS.
